About my career

Hello, I’m Monika Pattinson and I live in Bern. My journey has taken me from a career in the business world to a path I'm truly passionate about—working closely with people.
Over a decade ago, I took my first step in this direction when I joined a social service organization as part of the intake team. It was during this time that I discovered my inherent strengths and a profound passion for supporting individuals facing challenging situations. This realization led me to embark on a journey of personal and professional growth.
I decided to pursue studies in social pedagogy, a field where I found not only my calling but also an environment in which I continue to thrive to this day.
To further enrich my expertise, I dedicated myself to the study of systemic counseling at Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH). I now apply this knowledge in my work, specifically with behaviorally challenged teenagers and juvenile offenders. Additionally, I serve as an independent counselor, supporting individuals navigate their unique paths to personal growth and well-being.
